"Tomography – More than just curvature"
 

Tresia graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a B.Optom degree. She immediately joined Mellins I style, a leading premium eye care group in South Africa and in 2006 became a partner in the group.
In 2011 she joined the OCULUS Asia team, a direct subsidiary for OCULUS Optikgeraete GmbH, as clinical consultant in Hong Kong.

Her role included training sales representatives in all of the South-East Asian countries, travelling through the region doing distributor training sessions, providing knowledge and support.  Presenting and facilitating training workshops on all OCULUS diagnostic instruments during regional events, for both operating technicians and doctors. Developing and writing training manuals and study material on OCULUS devices. Attending and representing OCULUS at national, regional and international ophthalmic and optometric conferences. At these meetings addressing delegates during lunch symposiums and different educational events.

She works on projects that includes collaboration with leading doctor in their respective fields. One of these projects included close collaboration with Dr. Shizuka Koh, Osaka university Japan, during which she has co-written a guide to dry eye diagnostics called: A Guide to Comprehensive Dry Eye Diagnostics with the OCULUS Keratograph 5M (1st edition).

Tresia relocated to the Netherlands middle of 2017 and in November this year joined OCULUS GmbH as clinical consultant.
